Biography
I am a Business Consultant and Social Worker with over 15+ years’ experience working with social purpose organizations across Canada, including non-profits, charities, and for profit businesses. I am a Co-Founder of the Centre for Strategic Impact & Growth Inc. I am passionate about building innovative, equitable, and sustainable organizations and so I use my skills and education to assist equity serving organizations to build capacity and become sustainable. This includes but is not limited to strategic planning, organizational development, fund development, grant writing, stakeholder engagement, program development, evaluation, research, and training. Along with my other qualifications, I am a certified LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® facilitator, and EQi 2.0 and EQi 360 certified coach.
As a co-founder of the Centre for Strategic Impact & Growth Inc., I have supported over 10 small to medium size not for profit organizations through the strategic planning process including research, execution and evaluation. I have lent my facilitation, community engagement and research skills to several provincial and federal projects over the last five years including projects with Wilfrid Laurier University, Six Nations of the Grand River, Social Planning Council of Peel, The Black Community Action Network, Taibu and Afro Caribbean Business Network.
My approach is informed by a deep understanding of working from within equity seeking communities, which necessitates openness, partnership, and deep listening. I strongly believe in the power of relationality and I centre this as I work with organizations and the community.
